Ghouls

Welcome to Midwest Monster Resources, Inc. — a passion project and creative experiment by Anthony Tackett.

At its core, “Corporate Ghouls” is an exploration into the future of automated entertainment. This entire series is generated and managed by a custom-built n8n workflow, designed to test the boundaries of combining AI agents with text-to-video generation models to create fun, original, mockumentary-style content.

How It Works

This project is powered by a single, automated n8n workflow that runs daily. Here’s what it does:

  1. Trend-Based Concepting: An AI agent, acting as a “Creative Director + Trend Analyst”, researches current workplace comedy trends. It then develops a new video concept based on the show’s core premise: “Supernatural monster traits creating mundane, bureaucratic office problems”.

  2. Mockumentary Style: Every concept is designed to fit a 15-second “portrait” video and emulates the “dry, understated, awkward workplace cringe-comedy” tone popularized by “NBC’s The Office mockumentary”.

  3. AI Social Media Strategy: A second AI agent, acting as a “Cinematographer + Social Media Strategist”, takes the concept and writes a detailed video prompt. It also generates all the platform-specific content, including captions for TikTok and Instagram, and a title and description for YouTube.

  4. Automated Video Generation: The workflow sends the finalized prompt to a text-to-video API (using models like sora-2-pro-text-to-video) to generate the final video.

  5. Data Management: The entire process, from concept to final video URL, is automatically logged in a Google Sheet, creating a library of content and a memory for the AI.

This is an experiment in blending passion, automation, and a love for mockumentary humor. We hope you enjoy the mundane chaos of the ghouls at MMR, Inc.!
